Finally - a decent wildebeest portrait.

For some reason, I dont find wildebeest particularly interesting. Maybe it is because they rarely do anything except graze and sit around.

My strong belief is that good wildlife and nature photos are possible only when one has a strong emotional connection with the subject. Because of my lack of passion for them as a subject, I don't have too many good wildebeest shots.

I had to force myself to spend some time shooting wildebeest on a slow day. They do look cool, don't they?
