Impala are the Rodney Dangerfield
of the African forests. They get no respect.
After a couple of excruciatingly slow days in the northern
part of the park, I was getting a little frustrated.
Finding a herd of impala, with some sub-adult males,
I forced myself to stop and watch them. After a while,
they became oblivious to my presence and soon, a couple
of young males started wrestling horns, a test of dominance.
