These fellows are everywhere in
Kruger. Perhaps because they are so common, it is hard
to take them seriously as a subject - it is always tempting
to say "I'll shoot them later" and go try
to find cats instead.
I was shooting a tawny eagle, when this guy landed
on a fallen tree on the other side of the car. Recognizing
a good opportunity when it chattered to me from a log,
I decided to stop postponing things and shoot the boid.
